We hold the license!

After what seems like years, the club has now been issued a licence to use the BMX Track at Alvaston Park.

The license is held under the name of Derby BMX Club Limited as agreed at a previous AGM.

This will hopefully mean, getting approval to improve the track and hold events will become easier.

However, with the agreement comes responsibilities to the Club to maintain the track to a safe and tidy standard going forward, as we already do.

So we will continue to call on you all to get involved, help out with maintenance and mowing as required.

Well done to everyone that raced this weekend old and new, up in Manchester, as you know I didn’t miss a single moto this weekend from behind the camera!! 🎥

You all were amazing, and lovely to see a few more Derby shirts hitting the National scene.

We’ve started the race season really strong with some of our new Primary riders Charlie and Roland earning us some great points, taking us into 8th so far in the National Club Rankings.

We’ve said goodbye to a few too as they move to new clubs, good luck Lotte Etmane and Roman in your new clubs. We’ll still be watching your progress and I’m sure we’ll still be seeing Lotte at the track, but we’ll miss your points… 😜
