Derby BMX Club – Coaching Schedule
Following the success of our club over the last year, the influx of new riders and the extra demand from our members for regular weekly coaching for all skill levels, we have restructured our coaching plan to meet these needs.
Our club coaches have split our riders into 4 groups. This now means that everyone cannot be coached in one evening, so we have added an extra coaching day to our schedule and added an extra coach to cover these sessions on a weekly basis club sessions will run as follows:
Every Wednesday night with Kelvin Batey
Shredders & Snappers (Expert National Standard Riders)
Club Members Only, progression from Thursday group
Cost £10 per rider
Every Thursday night
Rookies & Rippers along with any new starters and beginners
Rookies will be 6:30-7:30pm (including New starters and beginners)
Rippers 7:15-8:15pm (intermediate and those unable to attend Wednesdays)
Cost £5 per rider.
If for any reason any riders are not able to or choose not to attend the Wednesday sessions they are assigned to, they are welcome to attend Thursday Ripper sessions starting at 7.15.
No rider can move from group to group without confirmation from our coaches.
Please note due to rider numbers, riders can only attend one coaching session per week plus open gates.
For all of you that are new to BMX Racing please see our welcome guide.
