Thursday 22nd December
Practice from 6pm racing from 6.30.
Open to every club member and new rider all ages and abilities. If you come to the club for any coaching we want to see you here having some fun.
All riders taking park get a chocolatey prize.
Mince Pies available for the Mums and Dad’s. 🥧
What is the eliminator?
This is a fun race, where a handicapping system is based on age only.
So you get 1 second head start per age difference (capped to give parents a chance if they want a go).
What happens?
All names go into a hat, 2 or 4 (depending on numbers) randomly picked names get drawn and then it's race time, a straight forward pedal as fast as you can around the track to the finish line. The winner progresses to the next round.
The losers from the first round get a "last chance qualifier round" to get themselves back into round 2 plus ensuring you get at least 2 races.
This is great fun, will be lots of laughs and all with a competitive edge!
Don't be put off by the "faster" riders! You could have a head start!!!!
Knock out rounds until the final 1 Vs 1 to decide who the eliminator champion is!!!
